Kerry with Clip ‘n Climb

Kerry’s internship at Clip ‘n Climb is the first internship that turned into paid employment within our program! Kerry had her internship at a south end business Clip N’ Climb, which was situated close to her home and her supportive parents. Kerry prefers to have a schedule that she can follow and this was evident when she did her internship as a check list of tasks was developed for her and she thrived with this. Kerry did experience difficulty in time management (breaks), so her cell phone was set up with alarms to assist her in getting back to work after her breaks. Her responsibilities within her internship were to assist with cleaning, sanitizing, equipment set up and customer service. Kerry was able to handle all of the tasks that were assigned to her and said she was very happy with her internship placement, as she liked the work and especially liked the all of the people she worked with.
