Alex with EPCOR

Alex had a very successful internship at EPCOR as she assimilated into the offices at EPCOR tower and worked with Human Resources. Alex put together over Welcome Kits for over 500 new employees. She experienced working in an office environment and with a different supervisor and coworkers very shift. Alex also participated in Zoom meetings with employees, working remotely and she enjoyed the interactions and meeting new people.

Another strength that Alex displayed was her ability to learn names and faces of people very quickly and to be very positive in any interaction she had, and the personnel at EPCOR really noticed and complimented her upbeat attitude. Alex completed her internship at EPCOR and was given a letter of recommendation and was also offered a casual employment opportunity which Alex wanted and accepted.

EPCOR has been Edmonton’s water provider ever since it became the city's first water treatment plant in 1903.
